Please note that if your text message includes 200 or more recipients, you will incur a charge of 1 cent per recipient. Before your message sends, a dialog window will appear, prompting you to approve the cost. This will add to your end of month billing statement.
Sending a Bulk Text Message from the Patients Tab
- In the top Navigation Bar, click Patients.
- In the Customer Group Detail Column, click the chat bubble icon.
Once selected, the Recipients will auto select Customer Group. This is your entire contact base with mobile phone numbers on file.
If you would like to manually enter recipients, click the "X" on the Customer Group and proceed to manually select recipients. - Select your template or use a blank template.
Note: To use an sms template, be sure the template is saved with a trigger set to Manual.
- Set the delivery date: you can either Send Now or select a later date.
Tip: We recommend clicking the Preview Button to double check your text message.
- Click the Send SMS button. Scroll to the top of the window and make sure you see a confirmation that your template has been sent or scheduled. This may take a few moments, depending on how large your contact base is.
Sending a Bulk Text Message from the Reports Tab
Using the Reports Tab to send Bulk Text Messages can be a powerful tool, especially if you want to send a bulk text to a specific segment of patients. For example, if you wanted to send a bulk text message to all of your patients who have an appointment within the next 7 days, you can do so from the Reports Tab.
- In the top Navigation Bar, click Reports.
- Create a custom report or select a predefined report in the left column.
