Description:
Improvements have been made to Legwork’s integration with Cloud9 and Denticon allowing completed patient forms to automatically sync into the practice management system. These updates will help practices reduce the time and effort spent uploading completed patient forms into the system by providing the option to automate the task of uploading the completed form as a PDF into the patient's notes. There is also an option to automate the demographic and insurance information provided within the forms to update the patient records when a complete form is received.
Key features:
- Syncing of PDF form submissions to the patient's document center.
- Each Legwork form will now have a checkbox to sync completed form submissions to attach as a PDF into the respective system's document center. When this checkbox is checked, all completed form submissions for the specific form type will be automatically posted to the practice management system upon receipt.
- For Denticon users the form will be uploaded to the Patient Notes.
- For Cloud9 users the form will be uploaded into the patient's Document Cabinet.
- Users can find this checkbox by going to Paperless Forms>Form Builder> Select a Folder> Select a Form> Go to Settings.
- This setting is available for all default and customized forms within a Legwork account.
- For Denticon users, the document types are customizable to match the document types the office has created.
- Document Types in Denticon are defined under Setup -> Misc Setup -> Document Type
- For Cloud 9, it will always say Document Cabinet.
- There is an optional dropdown to define the appropriate document type to match the document types setup in the practice management system.
- To check on the status of the PDF upload, Legwork users can go to Paperless Forms -> All Submissions.
- A successfully uploaded form will say "Approved" in green text.
- If there is an issue with the uploaded form a blue button will appear that allowed the user to manually submit the form.
- This could be due to an error with the API connection, a Legwork system issue, or PMS outage.
- For Denticon users, the document types are customizable to match the document types the office has created.

- Toggle option to automatically update and synchronize data with the Practice Management System
- There is a toggle that can automatically update and synchronize data with the practice management system. When enabled, information provided on the form will write back and update the practice management system.
- For Denticon+Legwork customers, only the Patient Information and Insurance Information Forms have this toggle.
- When Patient Information Forms are completed and this toggle is enabled, we writeback the following fields in Denticon:
- Preferred Name, Email, Home Phone, Cell Phone, Work Phone, Address, Marital Status, Pronouns, Preferred Language
- When forms have been returned and there is information to sync, the Denticon user will see a
icon in the Patient Overview Record. When the user clicks on the red bell, Denticon will bring up the Patient Demographic Comparison details screen, with a button to Update the Patient record by accepting the changes sent by Legwork.
- To view a list of patient updates submitted by Legwork, users can go to the Online Patient Registration – Existing screen, accessible from the Patient Menu.
- When Insurance Information forms are completed, the insurance information shows as a comment under Patient Notes.
- When Patient Information Forms are completed and this toggle is enabled, we writeback the following fields in Denticon:
- For Cloud 9+Legwork customers their Patient Information, Medical History, Dental History forms have this toggle.

- When Medical and Dental History forms are completed and the toggle is enabled, the information will show as a Patient Comment. Patient Comments are accessible from Home > Comments/Alerts

Compatibility:
This feature also works with all other integrated practice management systems, including Eaglesoft, Dentrix and Open Dental.
Best Practices:
This functionality will not work for new patients in Denticon until the office completes the New Patient Registration process and the system assigns a Patient ID.
