What is a Placeholder?
Placeholders are hard codes that pull in pieces of information like the First name of your patient, your account office name and phone number, and much more.
Placeholders allow you to customize your message based on your business information and your message recipient.
Adding a Placeholder
- Within your message or template, click the Placeholder button. This will allow you to enter customized messaging within your template. For example, selecting Salutation will add "Dear Valued Patients" if the recipient email is shared by multiple individuals (families) or "Dear [Recipients First Name] if the recipient email is not shared.
- Select a placeholder category, select your placeholder from the dropdown, and click the Ok button.
Tip: You can also add your Account Name and Account Office Number in the closing section of your message.
