Description:
Legwork has implemented a sliding scale question type in its form builder. For example, if your dental practice wants to understand how comfortable your adult patients feel about the appearance of their teeth instead of offering a simple "satisfied" or "dissatisfied" choice, you can utilize a sliding scale from 1 to 5, allowing patients to rate their satisfaction with their smile more precisely. This helps the office identify patients who might be open to cosmetic procedures, based on their nuanced responses. Please note that these features will be available for general release on 10/17/24.
Key features:
- Nuanced Responses: The sliding scale allows respondents to express the degree of their opinions or feelings rather than forcing them into a binary or limited choice. This provides more granular insights.
- Greater Precision: Instead of choosing a single fixed point, like "Agree" or "Strongly Agree," a sliding scale enables more precise measurements, such as rating something on a scale from 1 to 5.
- Better Data for Analysis: Sliding scale data can be used for more advanced statistical analyses due to the continuous nature of the scale compared to categorical data from traditional question types.
- Reduction of Bias: Offering a range of responses reduces the likelihood of bias by not forcing respondents into extreme categories.
Technical specifications:
- Maximum allowable answer options: 5
- Allowable answer types: Text or Image
- Maximum file size for the answer option is: 500KB
- Maximum image dimension: Images of any dimensions will be accepted, but they will be auto-adjusted to a dimension of 65px.
- Mobile Responsiveness: Response option images will auto-adjust depending on the device's screen size.
