Legwork is designed to send daily email notifications for Failed Writebacks until they are acknowledged. This ensures that you are reminded to contact support for assistance with syncing issues, maintaining communication and prompt resolution of any problems.
What Are Failed Writebacks?
In the event of an interruption of communication between a Practice Management System (PMS) and Legwork, your system will create a record of any updates from Legwork to the PMS that failed to transfer. These are referred to as Failed Writebacks. You will receive an email with the subject line ‘unread status appointment notification’.
How to Address Failed Writebacks
1. Check the To-Do List Tab:
Failed Writebacks are found under the To-Do List tab. They represent confirmations we have tried to write into your practice management software but were unable to bridge a connection to your server.
2. Possible Causes:
Power outages
Your server being turned off
Loss of internet connection at your office
3. Review and Acknowledge:
You will see under the Failed Writebacks list what appointment we attempted to confirm in your system.
Make any necessary changes in your practice management system.
Click Acknowledge next to the Failed Writeback that you have addressed, signifying that you have made the confirmation or cancellation in your system manually.
You will continue to receive ‘unread status appointment notifications’ until the writebacks have been acknowledged on lwcrm.com.
Best Practices
Contact Us: It is good practice to contact us to verify your PMS is syncing with Legwork.
Proactive Measures: This process ensures that you are reminded to contact support for assistance with syncing issues, maintaining communication and prompt resolution of any problems.
Once those failed writebacks have been acknowledged, you will stop receiving emails.
