Sending a Text Message from the blue Message Button
1. Open the Messaging Panel
Click the blue "Message" button located in the top right corner next to your account name.
2. Create a New Text
Click "New Text."
3. Select the Patient
Type the name of the patient you'd like to message.
Select the correct patient from the dropdown list.
4. Choose a Message Template (Optional)
If you have a saved template, select it from the list.
If you do not have a template, choose a blank template to create a custom message.
5. Compose the Message
In the Message Body section, type your custom message if using a blank template.
Optional: Click the Preview button to review your message before sending.
6. Send the Message
Click the "Send Text" button to send the message.
Important Notes
If the quantity above the Send Text button shows as "0", the patient's phone number is either invalid or missing.
To update the patient’s phone number, navigate to the Patients tab and edit the patient’s profile.
Sending a Text Message from the Patient's Tab
1. Navigate to the Patient
- Click the Patients tab.
- Search for and select the patient you wish to message.
2. Open the Messaging Window
- Click the chat bubble icon located in the top right corner of the patient's profile.
3. Compose and Send Your Message
- Type your message into the message field.
- Click the blue Send button to deliver the message.
Message Color Key
- Messages sent by automation or by users within Practice Marketing will appear in blue.
- Messages sent by patients will appear in grey.
